Our Target Audience:

During the research and process of identifing our target audience i have looked up similar movies that match our peice. One movie that had similar intentions to our peice was "It" the movie.
On of the main features "It" has that we have is the killer clown and i used this to my advantage to research what type of audience it targeted. Researched suggested that it mainly targeted young females and males ranging from 16-25. We decided to research more similar movie types. one movie that had the intention that we want to adapt into our peice is the movie scream.

Scream is a 1996 American horror/thriller film directed by Wes Craven. Filmed mostly in Santa Rosa, California, the film tells the story of the fictional town Woodsboro, California being terrorized by a masked killer who enjoys tormenting his victims with phone calls and movie references addition to "It" scream the movie also targeted a young aduience ranging from 16-25. In contrast to our peice, scream has a killer masked man whereas our peice is a killer clown.

After much research regarding our target audience for our peice, we have decided and concluded that our target audience will rang from 16-25 including males and females. This decison was influenced by the success that other films that are similar to our peice had when targeting such audience. For example scream and Saw.
